Before we can comment on the SB we need to be able to see a copy of exactly what has been proposed in the way of an inspection or change to the aircraft. I do not drought that someone found a rear spar with bad corrosion just as we know there are many wing front spars with the same problem. I would have no problem with a repetitive inspection as long as it is possible to do it with out great expense each time it is required and that it is only required on a basis of every two or five years or 500 hours whichever comes first after the first inspection. As there is only one smoking gun I would think that the first inspection should be due by the next annual or 100 hour inspection whichever came first. We do need to keep our heads down on this because the next one will be the front wing spars and it will kill a lot of Ercoups I am afraid. Have a good Thanksgiving.
