I am one of what seems to be many Ercoupe owners who have received notice of the proposed AD and SB #31 only through the Ercoupe owners informal network. I don't consider myself competent to comment on the SB except to say I want my 50 year old airplane to be safe; but it is important to me to be informed. Something has slipped through the crack and that should be addressed by the FAA so that ALL Ercoupe owners will be properly informed and have the opportunity to comment in a timely fashion.
