Hi Nancy,

The kiddie seat was actually a factory option on the Alon.  I believe that

someone has drafted a plan for the mod, but I can't remember who.  It
really 
isn't a very useful seat -- you can only put 75 pounds back there, and
it's 
right on the floor so it wouldn't be especially comfortable, I imagine -- 
but it does make for a cute baggage compartment.  Lots of folks do an 
extended baggage area.

Have you joined the owners' club yet?  Also, if you haven't already, check

out www.ercoupe.net -- there's a link to the mailing list there.  I'm
cc'ing 
your note to the list to see if we can find something for you.  Where are 
you based?  It'd be fun to meet you -- we have a number of lady 'Coupers
