I use one of the inexpensive electronic pest
repellers from Home Depot, plugged in continuously
in my hangar. It flips its signal from insect to rodent
and back again, constantly. Haven't seen any new
mouse droppings or new wasps since I installed it.
Guess I drove them all to the neighbors?
