Hi Spike:

I'm now in the process of doing a complete C - D change over.
When I got the coupe the engine had been chaned to a 85hp, but
the coupe was still a C model.

To change the engine HP requires mods to the carb. I call
Continental and talked to their techs before I started. The
procedure is quite simple. Take the parts manual for the
75 and compare it to the 85 manual. Any differences, change.
So this requred a change to the carb, (metering value and
new ventura) and a new dip stick (4.5 qts).

The coupe change is complete in the Skyport kit. About
$100. The biggest part was taking off the top of the
cowling, over the gas tank, and replacing with Stainless.
The kit from Skyport has everything, except instrument
markings, which are also required. The other major
change to a D is the reduction in elavator up travel,
that is covered in the Skyport kit.

If you don't want to buy the Skyport kit, you can
do it all off the shelve. You'll need a supplier for
the Stainless. The rest is markings and adjustments.

I can fax you the Skyport papers, if you would like to
review them. Just send me a fax mumber.

Hope this helps.
