Mary, my system consists of a "U" bolt around the top on the nose gear fork (not the shaft, but the "collar"). The bracket the "U" bolt goes through has two holes.

Two bolts (slightly bent) go through the bracket end of my custom tow bar. The bolts align with the holes in the bracket on the nose gear fork, and when inserted, pull and steer the plane around just great.

The tow bar is small enough to fit easily in the baggage area. A longer two piece one would be easy to make. The handle swivels, to save my wrist.

If this sounds appealing, I'll draw a picture for you.

happy Landings,

Subject: [COUPERS] tow bar

I am getting ready to install wheel pants on my M-10.
I currently have and am using a tow bar. However; this tow bar will not work after the wheel pants are installed.
Does any one out there know what type of tow bar would work with wheel pants?
Thanks in advance for your help.
