Actually I'm doing it for both reasons. The square holes, old glove box, was used for a DG. I'm taking it out and putting in a smaller one. The other was for a artificial Horz. It too, is leaving. The other reason is just the abuse the panel has suffered over the years. Hole cut in about every place. So this will improve the looks and make the plane a little tighter. Then the major flight instruments should be viewable by both people.
