Good evening Bob & OTHERS: This is going to be an open letter to all those that are thinking of not attending the Arizona Coupe Group's "Wing Ding" at Parker, AZ this Friday, Saturday and Sunday because of a little weather or having to drive a few extra hours instead of being able to fly. I am heading out tomorrow morning before the sun comes up over the mountain for the 16 to 18 hour trip by car to be at Parker before the sun comes up again. So all you coupers in central and southern Calif., and even that one in northern Mexico (almost), I don't want to hear any excuses or whining about why you didn't attend. Since I have assumed the "Exalted Position", as Joe Brooks so aptly put it, of northern Calif. EOC wing leader I feel that it is my sworn duty to whip the troops into shape and get them to all the events. Seriously folks, you should all make the effort to attend this meet. It is one of the best Ercoupe gatherings in the west.
