Actually, God did put them in when he designed the Coupe. Fred Weick told me that he had expected to sell about half of the planes WITH rudder pedals. It was the marketing department that really pushed the no-pedals bit. He seemed to think that marketing emphasis was a mistake. The plane is aerodynamically well behaved with pedals as well as without. Got to admit, I wish I had more leg room. -- Ed Burkhead Peoria, Ill.
