This is another good reason to make contact with other regions to try an attempt to consolidate them under your page or at least have them get a single page with general info and links to there pages..."</FONT></FONT></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">This is way over my head technically, but I think it is a good idea.&nbsp; Maybe it could be sponsored by the US Pilots Association.&nbsp; I know the USPA is trying to get more individuals to join the USPA and its various state chapters.&nbsp; The Mo Pilots Assocation has only&nbsp;10% of the licensed pilots in the state as&nbsp;members. This is unfortunate because the&nbsp;Pilot Association(s) can have a lot of clout on political issues related to aviation.</FONT></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">I think an interactive calendar by region would be a good idea, but its still nice to communicate on Fri night or early Sat morn with other pilots of like mind that are looking for a place to gather.&nbsp; Regional&nbsp;interactive calendars and group mailing lists are probably a good combination.&nbsp; I don't know how to effectively include those people without email, but I suspect that time and word-of-mouth will solve that problem easier than addressing and mailing postcards.&nbsp; I seem to have a hard time forcing myself to get beyond reading my email.&nbsp; I belong to a family "community" in which we post info, etc but no one in the family goes to it that much.&nbsp; We just email the easy way--or call on the phone.&nbsp; The same might occur with calendars, especially if they are not regionally selective.&nbsp; But the effort to get everyone involved in going somewhere is important to the values of our planes, aviation in general, and the people who work hard to plan and sponsor events.&nbsp; It is especially disappointing to go to a lot of planning, work and expense to set up a fly-in, only to have it poorly attended.&nbsp; As coupers, I would like for us to make all fly-ins interesting.&nbsp; It only takes a handfull of coupes flying in at one time to liven up a fly-in.&nbsp; And it is great to see several coupes in the air at the same time as you fly that extra mile (hour) to attend a fly-in.</FONT></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman">Does anyone know if the cafe in Beaumont, Ks is still open.&nbsp; There used to be a grass strip
