Georgia, You asked about maintenance books. Do you get the Shortys Pilot Supply catalog? It has lots of books in it, including some engine books. Also, the publishing company that produces the monthly "Light Plane Maintenance" magazine (expensive) has a series of books that are easy to read and reasonably priced. The various titles are: "Firewall Forward: The Top End"; "Body Maintenance"; Maintaining Power"; Fuel & Oil Systems"; and "Rules & Inspections". The used to have one titled "Systems Maintenance" but I'm not sure that is still available. They cost about $15 each plus shipping, although in Sept 99 they were advertized for $9.95 each or $39.95 for all five. I'm sure they would send or fax you a flyer. Their ph # is 800-241-7529, 9-5 Eastern Time; fax 203-661-4802. Their mailing address is LPM Library, 75 Holly Hill Lane, P.O. Box 2626, Greenwich, Ct 06836-2626.
