I am not quite sure where to put the prop as I have heard it should have a blade at 1030 with the #1 at TDC, but the Ercoupe manual says 45 degrees right of vertical when the compression stroke is begun, which I guess means BDC. Perhaps it will work either way. Somebody has mine marked in such a way that the prop is horizontal at TDC on #1 so I doubt that is helping any. Glen Ward
