There is what sounds like a great fly-in this weekend at Santa Ynez (IZA) by Solvang, CA. It will start Friday with preliminary aircraft judging and a free spaghetti feed in the evening. Saturday will continue the judging with awards and a barbecue in the afternoon. For more info. click on: http://www.syv.com This should be a fun fly-in at an interesting spot. There is camping on the field with showers available. The AOPA airport guide lists several close by motels if you happen to want more creature comforts.
