Seriously consider a VAL760. They fit pretty well in the panel under fuel
tank
level.

Can't beat the price for a TSO'd unit. No Nav, but that's what GPS is for.
In a
VFR plane like a Coupe, I'd go for a GPS/COM before a Nav/Com.
