I would avoid the Delcom. It does not work too well in powered planes. The volume is not loud enough even with a headset and it does not transmit near as well as the 10-year-old Sportys A300 that I got on Ebay for $225. I sold my Delcom this past week and I consider them to be basically junk for use as a primary radio. I even sent mine down there to Delcom and they fixed 3 things but it still was pitiful compared to the Sporty's, even on my new antenna. The Delcom is also hard on batteries compared to the Sportys.
