Sounds like a classic situation of engine or other item (like an exhaust pipe) resting against an engine mount or the cowling. I realize that in a coordinated turn the weight of the engine still pulls downward, but it effectively weighs more due to the G force. That could shift it just enough to contact something. I'd check both the mounts for deterioration for the correct hardware holding the engine in the mounts. Try removing the top cowling - then have someone pull down on the prop (near the hub of course) while you look at exhaust pipe clearance. Or, while you pull down on the prop, note whether it feels like it is moving and "bottoming out."
