Hi all:
This was sent to me by our "Esteemed C.C.'s Editor" to pass along: M.
=====================================================================
"I'm writing to you as a representative of your aircraft type club,
asking you to please pass on to our fellow vintage enthusiasts an
earnest request to get a copy of the AirVenture NOTAM this year."

A number of procedures have changed this year which bear special notice,
like the following:

* New airport hours: field closes at 2000 vice 2030

* No NORDO (No Radio) arrivals without specific prior approval

* Slower warbirds unable to maintain 150 MPH must use Ripon approach

* New departure procedure for 36L

And continued from last year:

* Please put a sign in your window indicating desired parking
destination; codes are listed in the NOTAM

The NOTAM is on the web at:
http://www.faa.gov/oshkosh/notam.html

And, if you are so inclined, I invite you to come visit Flight Line
Operations and volunteer for a shift or two, or to volunteer in another
area which interests you. We can always use good volunteers, and it is
always a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

I wish you an enjoyable and safe flight & stay in Oshkosh.

Cheers, Garrett, Vice Chairman
EAA AirVenture Flight Line Operations
