Upon careful examination the back plate had wore, which in turn was moving. The front plate had a very small hair line crack. it finally broke out around the prop bolts.
We added a new front, back plate and new spinner this past week, along with a rebuilt vacuum pump and new scat. Hope the spinner problems goes away figure while it was apart for the vacuum pump might as well change the scat it was getting old.
