N6596Q came in second in her class. The speed hasn't been posted as yet. A different Cessna 140 beat it again. She came in without using her header tank this year for the 304 miles. Last year she came in dead stick out of fuel so did the Cessna 140 that beat it last year. He flies her just this side of red line. The fact she gives them heck in racing is great. Bob Watson, use to be Alon driver. came in third in his Grumman. He should of kept his Alon. The Grumman, was in a different division. The Alon now belongs to Region Seven New Director to be. Bob Caspary, out of Apple Valley. Bob how about racing her next year??? She didn't beat N6596Q But did give it some fun. N6596Q will be flying home tomorrow.
