Jon: The 1st year I had my coupe I had all kinds of this problem, quit in the air,quit on take off. It taught me more about flying than my taildragger. It has an 0200 engine. Then I rebuilt the engine, put high compression pistons in it, rebuilt the carb, had the engine balanced,repitched the prop, And I havn't had that problem since about 130 hrs on the engine now. Flew it yesterday for 2 hrs in 20 degree weather,no problem. But it's always in the back of my mind. What I did to the engine shouldn't have anything to do with the ice problem.
