Hey Jack,
I'm listening! I got the tank back from Bruce the other day. I sent
it in to
the paint shop, and I've now got it back. I talked to the A&P, and he
says he'll
install it the week of Jan. 10th. We had the carb gone thru, to make
certain it was
OK. It was full of the crud that was falling off the tank walls, and into
the fuel.
Anyone who thinks the screens in our fuel lines will stop everything is
nuts. Much
of that fine precipitant. made it into the carb and cruded it up.
Luckily, all it
needed was a good cleaning. Everything else was OK! Anyway, the bottom
line is, I
should be ready to go up around the 15th of Jan. Have you recovered to
the point
that you can go up yet. Let me know.
