Howdy, Coupers.
Had the monthly Oregon Ercoupe Erforce meeting yesterday, and it
was well attended. Forteen persons graced our sign in sheet by the
time it was over. The weather was grand, and 4 `coupe types flew
to McNary Field in Salem, Oregon.
Lunch was at Roscoes. This restaurant takes a flying theme from
Roscoe Turner, a famous flyer of the 1930's. A mural of him and one
of his racers is on the wall. It even has Gilmore, his lion cub, grinning
out of the cockpit.
The suggestion of two list is well taken but I do not think we need it.
Some of us discussed it yesterday, and decided that there was just not
enough Ercoupe related, technical only content to make two places
viable. Just our 2-cents from the upper left coast.
