Hi Ron,
Read my lips! Glass fibers do not deteriorate with time or UV!! Why would you Remove the Razor Back, when it's as good as the day it was installed. You could strip it, and refinish it if desired, but why go to the time and expense of replacing it. "HE / SHE" Ron Burke wrote: I am looking at recovering my wings. I have one that is Razor Back in good shape and one in Ceconite that is loosing its paint coat. It looks bad with lots of bubbles in it that I am sure will start to peel soon. I really like Razor Back, if there is anyone out there unfamiliar with Razor Back, it is a lifetime fiber glass covering. Should I go ahead and recover both wings or just cover one and sand and refinish the other. I might note that the side that is Razor Back is all chromate and looks like new. I just pulled the wing to replace the rod ends, and got a good look at the attach points they really look good.... The side that is not Razor Back is also in good shape but bright metal no chromate..
