How about this one. Happened on my MGB. Left front brake (disc) would not release after pedal was released. Rebuilt everything, lubricated sliding surfaces etc. etc. all to no avail. After much additional looking here is what I found. The reinforced flexible hose supplying fluid to the caliper has a rubber inner and outer sheath. The inner sheath had deteriorated and a flap of rubber had come loose and acted like a check valve, holding the pressure after it was applied. This hose was only 20 years old, how old is the hose on the Coupe?? Rich Blair N99997 4J6 St. Marys, Ga.
