Don't ya just love it?! What a day for
flying! 5000' overcast, 30degrees, dry, 2" of powder snow on the sod strip,
and Lift. Did I say Lift? Glad for great cabin heat, in fact thought
about opening the canopy, till the realization struck me that I'd need a can
opener ( I need another coupe). Went to Ft Wayne to prep the Conquest for
a flight later today and had to replace the two beacon bulbs.(thirteen ft. up)
Love to fly, but hate ladders of any kind. Stopped at a friends
strip,(1300' and obstacles) and did a fly-by at another on the way home.
All told ( not counting the fly-by, )did three approaches and four landings. Did
I say lift? :-)
Who has more fun?! Merry Christmas Ya'all.
