Hi folks, Well, I am now a coupe pilot myself. I found a guy with 45,000 (~1000 in coupes)hours who owned a coupe for 35 years to help me fly it. I only flew with him for about half an hour, and it was clear that I could have easily flown the plane myself with no checkout, but then I am a hopeless worrier. Should have known that since the insurance didn't require a checkout it would not be very hard! Anyhow, I have now flown it about 6 hours and it is great! Flew it after dark this evening which was great too, but with no landing light it was not a real great idea. If anybody has a fairing light let me know, I have the fairings, not installed, but the light is missing from the hole. Thanks, Glen
