Ooops, should have been "polish, stripper, morphine, and sore necks",

     shame on me :)

OK, all you YAHOOS that gave me advice on stripping my plane should
be
aborted (perhaps by a bold pilot.) This job is hell! Ranks right up

there with sanding pinholes out of fiberglass.

We're talking stripper in my ears, neck, wrists, and down about
anywhere it can seem to creep into. And boy when that stuff hits it
burns like a bad case of...well you get the idea.

We have to wear raingear, safety glasses, and big respirators and it
still drips all over us and under our clothing. To top that off
about
the time you've been stripping for 3 hours straight you start to get
this aching feeling in your bladder...word of warning- DON'T! Go
take
a shower first cause this stuff doesn't wash off on the first pass!

The good news is that the Coupe is looking gorgeous. VERY straight
sheet metal, don't know why it was painted in the first place. Based

on what we're seeing I think I'll leave as much polished aluminum as
we can and just add a couple of accent colors that start from the
nose
(going to spring for a fiberglass SuperBowl) and arc back.

Anywho, you heard it here first...if you're tempted to try your hand
at stripping your Coupe DON"T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO IT! Hire
some unskilled labor for $10 and hour, crack a cold one, and watch
the
     games begin!
