Alon offered as an option the Brittan single-axis autopilot. I have all the drawings for installation. The only problem I have is; "The Brittan autopilot is no longer available. Therefore, you have to install an old one." I do not like that idea the least bit. These units were vacuum powered and are junk compared to today's Century-1. I asked the Philadelphia FAA Field Rep, "If I installed the Century-1 rather than the old Brittan, would he sign it off?" The answer was a very rapid and stern, NO! I went away thinking, and these guys are interested in OUR SAFETY-----BULSHIT! George Frebert
