I fully agree with you,,,,get a three control instructor......and spend
some 
quality time with the airplane ---to learn these automatic responses....

A long time ago, I suddenly recognized the opposite control learned
response 
, of riding sleds and flying airplanes.....and try to remember this when 
discussing flying using rudder pedals......Boy does the Coupe spoil us....

I believe the most dangerous condition when transitioning from a two
control 
coupe to a three control aircraft is rudder/brake steering.......after 
landing roll, etc. where pushing on the wrong rudder can get you in
trouble 
real quickly... So, I advise lots of taxi-ing around on the ground to
"fix" 
the automatic responsees... Once in the air, there is generally no 
problem....but on take off and landing...especially in a X-wind, there is
the 
potential problem with automatic responses.......
