Would some Northwest 'Coupers help me out? I'm presently using Aeroshell 100 W Plus. Should I switch to a multigrade oil during the winter? If so what is the recommended oil?
I'm in Tacoma right next to the sound. About the same wx as Portland or Seattle. I'm mostly concerned with excessive wear during starting when it's in the 30's or colder. It takes a bit of time before the oil pressure comes off the peg now and we haven't had a cold snap yet. Since I'm due an oil change in the next couple of days (2-1/4 hours) now would be the time to change if I'm going to go the a multigrade oil. Thanks: Paul N2409H
