Hi Again, It would be great to replace all those troublesome "old" parts with new ones. Two thoughts on this; If one is careful and does the parts replacement by the book and uses common sence it can be done safely. Second, maybe we should as a group request a mass buy of commonly needed parts from Univair and try to get a good discount for quantity. Everyone has the question of age vs. safty in the back of thier minds. For me I love my 'Coupe and will do everything to make it safer and keep it in the air. I've owned '36H for 10 years now and I have rebuilt the ailerons, did a rear spar splice to fix corrosion in the rear left spar at the attach point (kit from Univair), installed Clevelands, replaced the quadrant to fix the cable fray and .......... I think if one does these things their 'Coupes will be around for a long time.
