Sorry, couldn't resist the subject line!

Starting tearing apart the Coupe. Am impressed with the internals,
everything looks very well taken care of. All the insides have been

primered and look to be in great shape.

I had my IA show me a little bit about stripping paint using aircraft

stripper (white can with blue lettering and a pic of a plane on it.)

Was wondering if you all had even more tips on doing this job as
     painlessly as possible.

One thing he said was the the fumes are really what does the
stripping
and that if I get to a tough spot to wrap the area in plastic so the
fumes don't escape and they have a chance to penetrate. Haven't
tried
it yet but it sounds reasonable. The other thing he said was that if

you use a big tarp underneath the plane if you take your scraper and
take any stripper that falls off and put it back on the plane it
seems
to work about as well and it sticks good since it's a little thicker.

Another thing he said was that any fumes that get anywhere near
plexiglass or fiberglass will do amazing bubbly things and that I
need
to mask off these areas with a type of metal foil tape. Does this
sound reasonable? Is there a better way short of taking out the
     windows, etc.?

The little bit of stripping we did seemed to work real well and I'm
thinking the job will be tedious but doable.

Anyway, ya can never have enough tips with this sort of thing so I
look forward to hearing from any of you that have done a fair amount
     of this kind of work.

     Keep em flying!
