Fellow coupers... I'm looking for a set of, no damage, wheel pants for a 1966 Alon A2. I saw a pair for sale on AVWeb a few weeks ago but the bidding got rather high considering I couldn't actually take a look at them before buying.
I especially like the simple wedge shaped fairings that mount behind the wheels but don't actually cover the tire. Not sure exactly what you'd call them. I assume they make the air coming off the wheel cleaner. I don't really care about speed, I just like the way they look. I've only seen these wedge shaped fairings once before and that was on the cover of one of my many aviation magazines. It was about a year or year and a half ago and I believe it was private pilot magazine, not sure. The coupe with the fairing/wedges was orange and white/black 46 if I recall. If you have a set of these wedges/fairings or a standard set of coupe pants you'd like to part with, please contact me via e-mail or telephone. Thanks! -- Have a good one! The sign said "eight items or less". So I changed my name to Les.
