Dear Sir: I have a customer who wishes to change his 415C to a 415D The modification is listed in the TCDS, but I will need the drawings to approve the modification. the drawings are # 415-22031 for the elevator tab, and #415-31245.Do you have acces to these drawings? The situation does not stop there. Mr. Hollman the owner, is now in the process of changing his engine from the C85- to the C90-12F My problem is that these are 2 different TCDS, E-233 for the C85-12, and E252 for the C90-12F. Is there an STC to do this modification? As I see it Minor model changes are allowed under TCM SB 75-6. but this modification would in my view would require a new data plate. Next situation is the STC holder of the modification to install a C90 engine in the 415D is no longer alive, and his widow has no interest to continue with the sale of the STC. Is it possible to find somebody who 1. Either would be willing to give me a copy of the STC. 2. anybody who has received a field approval to let me use the data. The owner has gathered a lot of data for the mods, and now is really heartbroken about the possibility of having to give up the project and possibly selling the aircraft. The reason for the C90 mod is that the aircraft is flown in Germany under the U.S. Registration. In order for him to fly he needs to meet the German noise regulations. in the original configuration, he is restricted from flying at certian times of the day, and during the other times he must pay un godly landing fees !! The project has started, before I could really investigate all data and possibilities for my customer, and he has invested a lot of money and mostly nerves, In the interest of an Ercoupe fan please help me with the data requested, as always in aviation I will need this info yesterday. Thank you for your help Lloyd Nelson
