Our airpanes are old. And they are getting older. Age and deteriation go hand in hand. The problems we face with our fuel tanks is indeed a major one we face. There are only tow options we have. [1] Repair the tanks we have and hope they last. [2] Buy the new 15-gallon tank conversion. Option [1] will be the decision for most people. the reason is simple COST. Option [2] although more satisying to the mind, is not going to be considered because of its high cost of purchase and installation. I call Lee at SKYPORT today and talke to him at length about the cost of the 15-gallon tanks and installation. He said, "The price of the 15-gallon conversion today is $2,595.00, plus installation. They have sold only 38 units at this time. Installation time is about 40-50 hours. I will be back later to detali the the installation. Dinner is ready--Have to go. George Frebert
