Athens is still a go.

Was going to make a post on it today to remind everyone.

The I.D. is MMI, located between Knoxville and Chat.

Lots pretty colors in these parts. Fall is just
starting. Perfect coupe flying.

Call the FBO for hotel. I know there is one.
Sleep Inn I think. Cleveland TN is just down
the road, has a airport also. All the national
motels are there.

While at Athens check out the Mayfield processing plant.
It is a great visit and free ice cream. Scotty Mayfeild
has a great place.

Make sure to include a stop over at 6A3, Andrews-Murphy.
That's my spot. I'll let you take a JetStar home as
a sovereign (it's the one use to film Cliff Hanger).
Also got the Great Smokey Mountain Railway.

Hello all! have been planning to fly from central Va, down to the Athens Tn fly-in thats supposed to be this weekend. have not heard any more about it on here and I'm curious to see if it's all still a go and Six-Two-Zero is itching to try out her new prop and annual. If it's all still on are there any others from the mid-atlantic area interested in hooking up and flying down on saturady? Also anybody know about access to hotels and transportation there? Thanks in advance! Claude Wheelbarger (W13) Waynesboro, Va.
