George, Now the other side of the coin. A good lovable fellow with Q control back ground, out of Ford and retired. I know him because of the Ercoupe that he now owns. After he bought his 415, he called me because my
Ercoupe was on the field.
Some back ground on this A/C. Been watching it for Years since We move
to
San Diego. It was at Ramona when I first saw it. Came up for sale a bit
over
priced. Sold an it moved down town. We had a Mil. chopper blow a gear box
in
flight over the field that was it's new home. The crash put out flying
parts,
flame & etc. The 415 was hit by bits and pieces. Total but repairable.
Even before it was a sad case. Now it was real sad. Four years later it
is
a $40.000 bird with a 0-200 nice workmanship and not done. How much is his
labor worth? Well, add that to.
But now when you find this kind of Ercoupe for $25.000 That is a good
buy.
I'm still looking best to have cash they don't last long on the market.
For most of us your right know what your buying.
