Living in California I haven't had the opportunity to land on ice or snow. I have
done crosswind landings on runways with standing water. The coupe does
hydroplane. Was this made worse by the crosswind or was it the higher
landing speed? (I usually carry a little extra speed in windy conditions. I do 
try to hold it just above the ground to bleed off the speed.) Will it behave the
same? I'd like to know. Since we have about 300 beautiful flying days here
it may be a while before I find out. I would be more concerned with taking
off in the same conditions. It has been my experience that take-offs in cross
wind conditions get my attention way more that landings. Others may not
agree. So far I've managed to keep the "Bug Smasher" on the runway.
