Yeah, I realized after I posted that I didn't make that point.  And I also
figured out that you were probably not talking about the P-leads, which
seem
like ground wires except that they aren't when the mags are "on" (switches
"off"), only when the mags are "off" and then the engine isn't running and
nothing makes noise...
