Could not get in Friday Afternoon. Low Ocean layer.200-300ft X 1 mile a 
couple local were following railroad in not for my. After 4 hrs of flying.

Decided to go see In-laws at San Jose 5.5hrs Got a home cooked for putting
up 
with wife for the last 15 yrs.
  Saturday we (6) Coupe came together at Paso Robles and flew to Oceano at

Noon
  Being the last and highest is cool. Watching Five Ercoupe landing below 
broken layer of Ocean fog was pretty neat. ( just think what old Navy
pilots 
saw)
Oceano is only a few hundred yard from the beach@ 15 ft asl.
  Had to use 29 because of wind. 11 would have been good for long low
finals 
over the ocean.
   Five Coupes left early because other commitments and the ocean layer 
became thicker around 3:30 or so.
  11 Ercoupe in all.

   Sunday departure was delayed. By The Ocean layer till 12 or 1 O'clock.
I 
was up first so I could watch the Coupes break out of the fog less then
1mile 
off the end and 500ft high. All coupes made down wind departures And the 
piper an the big C's had to go out over the ocean into the soup. The last 
coupe to leave, Steve and Jack were follow by three Cessna's
   Yours, Warren H.
