Yes, I finished an aircraft in Stits products a few years back and I found
the Polytone as the colour with the Aerothane two pot clear over top gave
you a perfect wet look finish.

In the eight years since I finished this aircraft the surface has not
deteriorated at all. Needs only washing, no polish and is unaffected by
petrol etc.

If you reassembled the aircraft and would not be able to shoot the clear
finish then its back to automoti\ve rubbing compounds. Get a fine cutter
and preferably some instruction by a experienced hand with a buff and go
to
it. Its messy but give you the finish you want. (Not as good as the two
pot) Hope you have plenty of paint on the corners as it is easy to cut
through to the undercoat.
