When a person buys an airplane he/she should look through the
paperwork to
see 337's and STC's that have been done to the plane.  The mechanic also
must
look through them.  Skyport's MLG mod should be in there if it has been
done,
and then brake fluid would be used.  If not, mineral oil.  When my
mechanic and
I put Skyport's mod in my MLG he suggested that I have decals made that
say
"Service Struts with Brake Fluid Only" and attach them to the MLG
fairings.  I
haven't done it yet, but it is a good idea.  Actually, I'm using
motorcycle
silicone brake fluid, as it (reportedly) has less tendency to collect
water.
