The Salinas Air Show is this coming week-end Oct 1-2-3. Our Plane " Wait For Me Baby", will be on the static display there. along with Cody's, AT6 which gets more attention then the Alon.
We have mix emotions on putting the Alon on the line ,as the fires from the forest, and tire fire is really playing with ashes here in the valley. The forest fire, has white ash everywhere and the Wesley, tire fire has oil. Our cars are pretty much being washed daily to keep the oil off the paint. Will look forward to seeing the coupers there... can not miss the Alon, it is 3 colors of gray. with pants on... the AT6, as a rule is under her wing. Wayne, is tall at 6' 5" so he is easy to see above the crowd. those of you flying in fly safe... our hanger is Q13 on the south side of the field on the tower side. The air strip addition, was completed last week with the Alon, being the first plane to sit down on it... the Blue Angles, for the first time will be able to land there instead of Monterey.
