I have this hairbrained idea_ I work at a Titanium foundry where we
make aerospace and medical investment castings. Our chief chemical
engineer has a small foundry at home where he "plays around" (though
he's very good at it) with casting bronze and aluminum. I thought it
would be neat to make a set of bronze Ercoupe bookends. The Coupes
(each end) would be slightly climbing and be angled out about 20
degrees or so. Would look pretty neat.
Anybody else interested in something like this? He doesn't want to
make too many (turns a hobby into work) but we could probably talk
him
into making a half dozen sets or so.
