Took a business trip up to Portland yesterday and while driving in
traffic noticed a car ahead with a license plate that read AVE8ER. I
thought, "That's nice, must be an RV owner" since Van's followers are
many in number around the valley. But what do you know,the gentleman
had an *Ercoupe* sticker on his side window!
Now I got to thinking, how in the heck do you tell someone you're an
Ercoupe pilot in sign language? Maybe I could kick my feet up on the
dash and move my hands in front of me like I was making a coordinated
turn and put a big smile on my face? How about acting like I was
sliding down my side windows? Maybe I could stick my hand out the
window and make motions like I was landing crabbed in a crosswind?
Any other ideas out there? Maybe we need a universal Ercoupe Owners
hand signal. You know, kindof like the Crips and the Bloods... "Yo'
boooyyy, I be chillin' wida' Coupe Group...word up..." :)
