For the coupers near central Missouri, you may wish to use the following as an excuse to aviate. Missouri's newest airport is at Warsaw, and is having its Grand Opening on Sat, October 9, 1999. Activities will be from 10 to 2, but the formal ceremony will be from 10-11. There will be a military fly- by, static displays and plane rides.
By auto, the new airport is located 6 miles north of Warsaw on U.S. 65. (on the west side) By air, Identifier 56M (N38 20.82 - W93 20.76) or 2 miles south of OR2 There is also a grass strip at Lincoln Mo not far away.
