The Ercoupe a touch of class page 213.... Here is the story::: There is a picture and story... It was built in the winter of 1946-47.... It was built in Athens Ga. .... It was licensed by the FAA in April, 1947... Grandy Thrasher, of the Thrasher Bros Air show built it.... It was flown over 1250 hours.... Also note that this was the first twin engined airplane built post -war and was the first light twin ever built in the USA.... IT was a legitimate four passenger twin!
