My personal landing checklist (on my panel!) includes turning on carb heat. I leave it on for the entire landing sequence. Of course, on a "go around" you had better turn it off! I use carb heat on every landing and when practicing power off "stalls" etc. even if the temp is up and no moisture is visible.
It's just good practice IMHO. Wayne N3544H
