I went to two recent fly-ins here in southeast Michigan (Pontiac and Romeo). It was frustrating because, at least while I was in attendence, there wasn't a single Ercoupe there. It used to be there were a ton of 'coupes around, now it seems they are a rarity. No wonder they draw so much attention! The only aircraft of similar vintage that still turn out in numbers are the Navions and Cubs.
I'm still watching for Ercoupes, and still looking for that first ride in one. I still think I'll end up having to buy one in order to get it! Michael J. Nutt Warren, MI
