FWIW, I've been flying with a set of David Clarks for about 7 years (not in an Ercoupe) with absolutely no problem, switched to the ANR Clarks and just love em. P.S. a really good way to burn up a whole wack of AA batteries is to forget to switch off the ANR after landing! Spike
